W. Bruce Miller is a seasoned financial professional with over 30 years of experience in banking, finance, and wealth management. A Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Registered Social Security Analyst (RSSA), he is dedicated to helping clients make confident, informed financial decisions.
 
Bruce’s executive experience includes serving as an Executive of Utah’s largest independent bank and as President of a financial startup that was successfully acquired. He has also held senior leadership roles—including President, COO, and Senior Advisor—at multiple financial firms. Earlier in his career, Bruce worked at WordPerfect, Novell, and EDS, where he developed a strong foundation in business strategy and operations.
 
Driven by a desire to make high-quality financial planning more accessible, Bruce founded PROFi with a mission to deliver fiduciary-focused, client-first service across income levels. Originally from Washington, Bruce lives in Highland, Utah, with his wife, Mary, and enjoys traveling, cycling, golfing, and spending time with family.

Mary G. Miller BA Communications

Vice President, CXO & Co-Founder
As Vice President, CXO, and Co-Founder of PROFi, Mary Miller is dedicated to driving client success through strategic insight and exceptional service. With over 30 years of leadership experience in small businesses and client service, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s direction, ensuring client-centered solutions, and fostering operational excellence.
 
Beyond her work at PROFi, Mary has a proven track record in organizational growth, leadership development, and operational strategy. She also serves as chair of a scholarship board in partnership with the Utah Valley University Foundation, supporting future professionals.
 
Mary holds a BA in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Brigham Young University and is a Certified Peacemaker Coach. In addition to managing a private finance company, she co-founded PROFi alongside her husband, Bruce. Originally from American Fork, Utah, she resides in Highland and enjoys traveling, cycling, and design.

Sam H. Brasher

Associate Advisor
Samuel Brasher is an Associate Advisor at PROFi, specializing in financial planning and wealth management. With a strong background in business operations and a passion for client-focused service, he is dedicated to building financial strategies that help individuals and families achieve lasting success.
 
Samuel earned his Master’s in Financial Planning and Analytics from Utah Valley University’s Woodbury School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Operations Management with a minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University–Idaho. He is licensed in Life & Health Insurance in Utah and California, has passed the Series 7 and 66 exams, and is preparing to take the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) exam in 2025.
 
Before joining PROFi, Samuel gained valuable experience in sourcing, project management, and customer service through roles at Action Target, DAA Northwest, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He led initiatives in demand forecasting, cost-avoidance, and workflow optimization—skills he now applies in his planning work.
 
Samuel spent two years in Madrid, Spain, as a Volunteer Representative, where he led teams, managed residency processes, and strengthened his leadership and communication skills.  Originally from Sacramento, California, Samuel lives in Vineyard, Utah, with his wife, Natalie.  Outside of work, he enjoys flying as a private pilot, golfing, and spending time outdoors.

Luke Wonnacott

Associate Advisor
Luke Wonnacott is an aspiring financial planner with broad industry experience and a passion for learning.  Luke is graduating this year with a B.S. in Finance from BYU (3.93 GPA), where he earned a scholarship. He previously gained experience at two wealth management firms, refining his skills in research, client relationships, and portfolio analysis. 
 
Luke helped lead his team to a top-three finish in the Sapphire Wealth Management Case Competition out of 20 teams. He is Series 65 licensed, holds Life & Health Insurance and Notary Public certifications, and is on track to take the CFP® exam in July 2025.
 
Fluent in Spanish, Luke developed strong communication skills while serving as a Volunteer Representative in Mexico City. Originally from Gaithersburg, Maryland, he now lives in Vineyard, Utah, with his wife, Sophie. In his free time, Luke enjoys reading and exploring investment and personal finance topics.

Rachel Smith

Executive Administrative Assistant

Rachel is a reliable and detail-oriented administrative professional who helps ensure smooth operations for PROFi’s financial planning team. With a degree in Sociology from Brigham Young University, she brings strong organizational skills, a thoughtful approach, and a steady presence to her role.

Rachel supports a range of essential functions at PROFi, including client onboarding, account setup, and day-to-day coordination. Prior to joining the team, she worked in BYU’s Risk Management and Safety department, where she contributed to system improvements and supported university compliance efforts. She also served as a research assistant on projects focused on the Northern Cheyenne Native American Reservation, gaining valuable experience in data collection and cultural outreach.

Originally from Henderson, Nevada, Rachel enjoys reading, drawing, doing crosswords, and spending time with her partner and two cats.

Ethan R Gividen

Team Support Associate

Ethan is currently PROFi’s Team Support Associate where he supports the advisory team with research, client service, and operational tasks. He joined PROFi in May 2025 and is currently pursuing a degree in Finance at Brigham Young University, where he maintains a 3.95 GPA. He is a member of the Wealth Management Association and the Corporate Finance & Advisory Association. 

Before joining PROFi, Ethan gained experience in property management, customer service, and sales. He also spent two years in Ecuador on a volunteer mission, where he developed leadership skills, cultural awareness, and fluency in Spanish.

Originally from Cedar Hills, Utah, Ethan is known for his strong work ethic and desire to learn. Outside of work and school, he enjoys sports, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Emma Jared

Operations & Projects Associate

Emma Jared is an Operations & Projects Associate at PROFi, where she supports special initiatives and provides strategic operational guidance. With a degree in Human Development from Brigham Young University, she brings thoughtful organization, strong communication, and a get-it-done mindset to every project she leads.

 

During her time at PROFi, Emma has served as a key liaison for client service requests, streamlined account setup processes, and managed complex scheduling needs.  Her ability to anticipate needs and execute with precision makes her a trusted partner to both the advisory and leadership teams.

Previously, Emma worked as an Executive Assistant at Metekingi & Associates and as a Financial Audit Assistant Manager at ION Solar, where she led a team focused on financial accuracy and compliance.

Grace E Miller

Project Specialist Associate
As a Project Specialist Associate at PROFi, Grace Miller supports operational efficiency and internal organization. With a strong background in planning and adaptability, she contributes to projects that enhance both client service and back-office systems. Her positive, solution-oriented approach makes her a valuable part of the team.
 
Grace is fluent in French and served as a Volunteer Representative for 18 months, including eight months as a Training Leader. In this leadership role, she mentored and equipped volunteers with skills to teach and serve effectively, strengthening her communication and problem-solving abilities.
 
Grace is currently pursuing her degree at Brigham Young University. Outside of work and school, she enjoys running, hiking, and is an accomplished ballerina.
